Even though Tisa retired from Chattanooga State, the former librarian couldn't stay away from books for long. She and her husband Clark, recently constructed a little library right in the middle of their neighborhood park.
The Murray Hills Garden Club manages Sterchi Park and welcomed the library as a community project, especially since the Murray Hill neighborhood isn't anywhere close to a public library.
Little Free Library is a national organization that promotes literacy through the establishment and distribution of free books in neighborhoods. This Little Free Library is the 24th in Tennessee and soon the this library's location will be marked on a Google Map with the rest of the Little Free Libraries all over the world.
